Trafford has a fresh face at the helm! Coun Jane Brophy, a passionate community gardener, talented clarinet player, and only the second Liberal Democrat mayor in over a century, has been elected to the prestigious role. Coun Brophy’s election as mayor is also noteworthy as she is only the second Liberal Democrat to hold the position since the turn of the century.
