Staten Island Advance
In a bid to inspire the next generation of innovators, nine teachers from Staten Island and NYC have received training and equipment from the National Association for Amateur Radio (ARRL) to integrate radio technology into their STEM classrooms. This innovative approach aims to spark students' interest in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) by providing hands-on experience with radio communication. By incorporating this technology, teachers can create engaging and interactive lessons, fostering a deeper understanding of complex concepts and preparing students for careers in emerging fields. With the help of ARRL, these educators are paving the way for a brighter future in STEM education.
