PETALING JAYA: A high-ranking Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) official has expressed support for holding the 16th General Election (GE16) simultaneously with the 13th Sarawak state election. The suggestion, revealed in a statement, aims to streamline the electoral process and potentially reduce costs.

The GPS leader, who requested anonymity, believes that conducting both elections concurrently would be highly beneficial.
